Why add a health shot to your menu + two recipes!

It’s no secret that us at Be Mores are huge smoothie fans, but there’s one thing we’ve been testing at home lately – a health shot! It is the perfect combination of things that will boost our health during fall. The recipes were compiled by our super good nutritionist Julia.

What are the benefits of a health shot?

Powerful vitamin bomb

This health shot contains a lot of vitamin C, which can be obtained from both blackcurrant and Be Healthy mixture. The last one also contains other vitamins and plenty of minerals. Garlic is a good superfood that in many cases is left out of people’s diets only because of the very strong smell. Don’t be afraid of it or take a shot in the evening when there is no need to meet people anymore. Garlic boosts the immune system, strengthens body’s resistance, helps fight parasites and is very rich in nutrients. Honey and garlic are a good combination, which have a strong antibacterial and antiviral effect.

  • 3 tablespoons of blackcurrants
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  • 0.5-1 tsp of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of Be Healthy
  • If necessary, add a little water

Add all the ingredients to the blender and crush. If the berries do not provide enough liquid, you can add a few tablespoons of water to make the shot more liquid. Enjoy fresh!

Vibrant citrus shot

Orange and lemon are rich in vitamin C, which relieves stress, fatigue and helps increase the body’s resistance.   • About 0.5-1 cm ginger slice
  • Half orange
  • 1 teaspoon of Buckthorn’n’Lemon mixture
  • 0.5 tsp of honey

Grate the ginger with a small grater, squeeze the juice out of the orange. Add the Be More lemon-sea buckthorn collagen mixture and honey and mix everything well. Enjoy!
