Collagen has been talked about as one of the anti-aging miracle weapons. There are a lot of references to this, particularly in the cosmetic field and skin care advertisements. What role does this protein, which is one of the most important proteins of the human body, really play in aging?

It is the key protein of the body, forming 30% of all the proteins in the body. Smooth muscles lining the internal organ walls, blood vessels, gut, heart, gall bladder, bladder, kidneys, hair and nails all contain collagen.

How to use:

Add 2 tsp of collagen to either water or to your favorite smoothie. While adding to the water mix thoroughly and leave it to dissolve for 2 minutes (the warmer the liquid the better it will dissolve, in the cooler it may not dissolve completely). You can also add collagen to your (morning) coffee/tea instead of cream. It softens the taste of the coffee substantially while adding a mild nutty flavour to the coffee, without changing the color.

Storage conditions:

Store at room temperature, keep away from direct sunlight if possible. After each use seal it carefully.
